Brian joined the firm in 1980 and worked part time while attending High School and College. Beginning as a draftsman and designer, he has worked his way up thru the ranks. Brian is an authority in the design of energy efficient buildings. Some of his engineering has won awards from ASHRAE for their energy efficient design. Many of his and the firms energy efficient designs predate the "Green" building movement. Brian has lectured on and written about Energy Efficient design. Brian has also consulted extensively on building problems. Brian wrote a ductwork and piping design package for AutoCAD in visual basic. This package enables the office to engineer ductwork and piping right in the computer. This is what Building Information Modeling is all about. Brian headed all the Lincoln-Way Community High School projects including their two newest schools that included approximately $30,000,000 worth of MEPF. Project design experience:
